GRAMUS has been working to achieve the millennium goal of imparting universal free primary education to all children of its working area by the year 2015 NFPE program was initiated in 1994 in phulpur upazila of Mymensingh district supported by BRAC in order to eradicate illiteracy from the children, adolescent, adults, dropped out children and the working children engaged in hazardous jobs, At present opportunity of education has been created for 1140 children of ultra poor families through 38 literacy centers with the joint support from BRAC-European commission. The main objective of this program is to give the light of education to thousands of deprival rural children and motivate their parents about the necessity of education

* To provide them with incentives and standard education.
* To involve the dropped out children in the mainstream of education.
* To create opportunity for technical and vocational education.
